Job descriptionCounsel consumer lenders and financial institutions, developing compliance policies, procedures, and disclosures Advise clients on related statutes and regulations as they apply to their business, including the TILA, TRID, FCRA, FDCPA, and ECOA 10 or more years of experience working with consumer lenders and financial institutions on developing compliance policies, procedures, and disclosures Experience advising clients on statutes and regulations as they apply to their business Knowledge of state consumer protection laws as well as TILA, TRID, FCRA, FDCPA, ECOA Recent law firm experience is preferred Excellent academic credentials
Consumer Finance Regulatory / Compliance Senior Counsel – Am Law 100 Firm
About the Position :
Our client, a Midwest-based national law firm, is seeking a consumer finance lawyer with 10+ years of compliance / regulatory experience to join its Chicago office as a Senior Counsel. The person in this role will work primarily with the firm’s national Consumer Financial Services and Financial Services & Capital Markets Strategic Business Practices, which counsel a range of clients across the country.
