PACS System Engineer

Job Description

PACS System Engineer – Contract – Coral Gables, FL – $65-75 / hr.

The final salary or hourly wage, as applicable, paid to each candidate / applicant for this position is ultimately dependent on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate’s / applicant’s qualifications, skills, and level of experience as well as the geographical location of the position.

Our client is seeking a PACS System Engineer in Coral Gables, FL .

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage system upgrades, application lifecycle, and technical remediation for PACS / RIS platforms
• Serve as SME for imaging systems, ensuring optimal performance and integration
• Collaborate with radiologists, IT, and clinical teams to enhance imaging workflows
• Analyze and document business requirements and system configurations
• Provide hands-on support and troubleshooting for PACS / RIS systems
• Coordinate with vendors for feature implementation and issue resolution
• Develop and maintain SOPs and training materials
