About the role, Your Impact

Baxter & Woodman has a rewarding opportunity for a Senior Water System Engineer to work in our growing Water Practice. Baxter & Woodman works with municipal clients on projects of all sizes, putting the client and the solution first solving problems for people.

What your day-to-day will look like

• Develop hydraulic models of water distribution systems.
• Lead preparation of water system master plans.
• Evaluation and design of potable water facilities.
• Manage water distribution system study and design projects.
• Leading a team of project engineers and technical support staff.
• Permitting with local, state, and federal permitting agencies.
• Performing quality control reviews of water models, reports, and / or design.
• Preparation of plans and specifications for construction.
• Represent Baxter & Woodman at municipal meetings.
• Preparation of competitive proposals and participation in interviews.
• Develop business in the Chicagoland area.

Compensation : The pay range for this role is $100,000 - $130,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, and certifications.
