Travel Nurse Job Details Location : Charleston, SC (Zip : 29425) - South Carolina healthcare jobs Facility Type : Level I Trauma Center, Teaching Facility, Magnet Hospital Contract Duration : 13 weeks (Start : January 5, 2026 - End : April 6, 2026) Shift : Night shifts, 3x12-hour (19 : 00 - 07 : 30) Hours per Week : 36 Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1420-$1530 Weekend Requirement : 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule period Unit : CHS 5W / 5SW MS Trauma Main Charting System : EPIC Scrub Color : Solid Royal Blue or White top with Royal Blue bottoms Parking : Convenient garage parking available for a small registration fee Registered Nurse Qualifications Active South Carolina RN License or Multi-State / Compact State Registered Nurse License (pending license not accepted) Minimum 1 year of recent Med / Surg RN experience ACLS and BLS certifications required Trauma nursing experience preferred Experience with EPIC charting system preferred Flu vaccine required (medical / religious exemptions accepted) Ability to float within scope to meet facility needs Med / Surg RN Responsibilities Provide high-quality nursing care to adult patients in a busy Med / Surg trauma unit Manage patient ratios of 4-5 : 1, depending on staffing Administer blood products and cardiac drips (no titration) Perform central line blood draws and peripheral line care Interpret and manage dysrhythmias Implement isolation precautions and oxygen therapy Collaborate with rapid response and code teams Support trauma and orthopedic cases within the unit Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC Participate in emergency response teams during hurricane season (June-November) Join our healthcare team in Charleston and experience one of the best travel nursing jobs in South Carolina.
