Responsibilities
- Drive partnerships with scientific societies and healthcare system decision makers to improve healthcare delivery around the world, both from a brand-specific and CVRM-wide perspective.
- Identify and lead strategic advocacy and engagement plans with KEEs to develop experts who can participate in global, regional and local medical activities outlined in the CVRM Strategic Plans.
- Strategically drive external initiatives through grants and sponsorships that support patient engagement, disease-state education, policy issues, that are aligned with franchise and business ambition.
- Map clinical guideline across the CVRM space, along with preparation and communication around key updates, and create plans to drive clinical guideline implementation at global levels.
- Work within the Medical affairs team to develop and execute impactful medical education that includes new clinical evidence, RWE, and guideline recommendations to increase HCP confidence in our CVRM portfolio and improve patient outcomes.
Minimum Requirements – Education And Experience
Bachelor’s and advanced degree (MS, MD, PharmD, PhD, or equivalent) preferred6+ years of experience within the biopharmaceutical industry, ideally within externally-facing or Medical Affairs positionsUnderstanding of healthcare systems and experience in partnering and collaborating with external healthcare professionals and / or scientific societiesDemonstrated track record in delivering new solutions and driving across cross functional teamsGood scientific knowledge experience in CVRM diseases, specifically knowledge of the obesity area preferredExperience with the USA health care system preferredLocation : strong preference for Boston, Massachusetts, USASkills

The annual base pay for this position ranges from $180,800- $271,300. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours. Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition, our positions offer a short-term incentive bonus opportunity; eligibility to participate in our equity-based long-term incentive program (salaried roles), to receive a retirement contribution (hourly roles), and commission payment eligibility (sales roles). Benefits offered included a qualified retirement program [401(k) plan]; paid vacation and holidays; paid leaves; and, health benefits including medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans.
