We have an opportunity for you as a

Direct Care Staff ! We are a 6-bed Intermediate Care Facility for the Developmentally Disabled Adults with health care needs. Direct Care Staff members play a vital role in the daily care for our residents in a home-like setting. We welcome you to join our team, and build a career taking part in our residents' journeys in this stage of their lives.

Direct Care Staff job requirements :

Experience necessary,

be part of a team as a caregiver for developmentally disabled adults

Basic cooking knowledge

Experience with ADL care, transfers and mobility, ROM exercises, and memory care.

Valid California ID or Driver's License and a social security card

Able to pass criminal background check and reference check.

Current CPR certification (can be taken while in training)

Current TB test and a physical exams

Must be fully vaccinated with a booster or eligible for an exemption

As a Direct Care Staff member, you will be :

Assisting residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, meals - all activities of daily living.

Lifting and transfer of residents who are dependent on wheelchairs using lifts and assistance.

Medication administration via GTube (after training completed).

Light housekeeping duties (including laundry).

Attendance of ongoing training.

Implementation of therapy objectives.

Daily documentation.

Assist with meal preparation, laundry and light housekeeping
