Job description

Client : Toyota

Title : Cloud Database Engineer

Location : Plano TX

Duration : 12+ Months

Visa : GC or USC

Rate : $60 / hr on C2C

Required Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in the following Cloud technologies
  • AWS Cloud Database technologies Redshift, Aurora PostgreSQL, Databricks, AWS Transfer Family, DynomoDB, and platform administration.
  • AWS Cloud Infrastructure technologies like VPC, Direct Connect, DataSync, S3, EC2, IAM, Secrets Manager, KMS, Service Endpoints, API Gateways, etc.
  • Automating Cloud infrastructure using Terraform and integrating with DevOps pipeline using Jenkins, GitHub, and XL Release.
  • Strong experience in SQL tools such as OmniDB, DBeaver, SQL Developer, and PGAdmin.
  • Extensive experience in database security, backup and recovery, and performance monitoring standards.
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate and AWS Certified Database Specialty Certifications is a must.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create and present concepts and recommendations to management.

Additional Qualifications :

  • Experience with Automobile and / or Manufacturing organizations.
  • Understanding relational and dimensional data modeling.
  • Strong command of SQL, PL / SQL, PowerShell, and Unix shell scripting skills in a plus.
