Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA / L)

Responsibilities : - Assist in the implementation of occupational therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist - Provide direct patient care and interventions based on individualized treatment plans - Document patient progress and maintain accurate records - Collaborate with the occupational therapy team to develop and modify treatment goals - Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and strategies - Monitor and report any changes in patient condition to the supervising therapist - Maintain a clean and organized therapy area Skills : Proficiency in understanding and using medical terminology related to occupational therapy practice - Physiology knowledge : Understanding of human physiology and its application to occupational therapy interventions - Occupational health : Knowledge of occupational health principles and practices, including ergonomics and workplace safety - Pediatrics : Experience working with pediatric patients, including knowledge of developmental milestones and age-appropriate interventions - Anatomy knowledge : Understanding of human anatomy and its relevance to occupational therapy assessments and interventions

Job Types : Full-time, Part-time

Pay : $35.00 per hour

Expected hours : 5 40 per week
