Skilled clinician with experience and passion for severe mental illness to oversee daily clinical and program operations for EPIC-NOLA. This position will also provide direct service to caseload including assessment,treatment, case management, and successful discharge.
- Ability to manage program operations for the EPIC-NOLA
- Ability to establish, promote and maintain a positive work environment for EPIC-NOLA
- Ability to develop and maintain positive collaborative relationships with area stakeholders
- Ability to ensure program quality assurance and full implementation and to adhere to all quality metrics
- Ability to provide guidance, supervision and support to behavioral health program supervisors and staff members
- Ability to identify First Episode Psychosis (FEP) and provide linkage and care coordination to appropriate treatment
- Ability to provide necessary communication throughout the week between clinicians concerning issues that arise with mutual EPIC-NOLA patients
- Ability to prepare for clinical activities such as prep / clean-up for EPIC-NOLA groups
- Ability to make hospital visits to patients once referred in order to establish rapport and provide education about program
- Ability to make visits to hospital when current patient is hospitalized to ensure continuity and to provide support
- Ability to complete necessary assessment tools necessary for data collection for program evaluation,outcome evaluation, quality indicators
- Ability to provide training and education to staff members as appropriate

- Ability to oversee management of caseloads and assignments as required for the effective operation of the programs
- Ability to oversee staff clinical documentation in approved record keeping systems (EMR, office charts,etc.)
- Ability to assist the billing department as needed to resolve billing issues
- Ability to ensure timely completion of all expense documentation, time sheets, etc. in accordance with agency guidance
- Ability to attend supervision with the Medical Director as required
- Ability to complete all required documentation in a timely and clinically appropriate manner including time sheets, clinical records, etc.
- Knowledge of the fundamentals of first-episode psychosis interventions
- Ability to provide clinical services including behavioral health assessments, individual, family, and group therapy sessions.
- Ability to conduct psycho-educational groups for clients or family members as deemed.
- 1 year supervisory or management experience
- Experience in the mental health evaluation of adolescents and young adults3. Experience with psychotic disorders4. Interest in research
