Field Chief Information Security Officer

A company is looking for a Field CISO to serve as a trusted advisor to clients in navigating cybersecurity challenges.

Key Responsibilities

Act as a virtual CISO for key clients, providing executive-level guidance on cybersecurity strategy and risk management

Collaborate with internal teams to align Managed Detection and Response (MDR) services with client needs

Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders and support account teams in renewals and upsell opportunities

Required Qualifications

10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 3 years in a senior advisory role

Deep understanding of MDR, SIEM, EDR, threat intelligence, and incident response

Strong knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST CSF and MITRE ATT&CK

Experience advising Fortune 1000 or mid-market clients across multiple industries

Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or CCSP are preferred
