Job descriptionPerform diagnostic imaging procedures per physician orders. Prepare patients for imaging by verifying health information and explaining procedures. Position patients for optimal imaging results and adjust equipment as needed. Follow safety protocols to minimize radiation exposure. Maintain and operate imaging equipment, ensuring proper functionality and cleanliness. Update patient records promptly with imaging details and results. Deliver excellent customer service by answering questions and maintaining confidentiality. Collaborate with providers on imaging results. Cross-train in medical receptionist and / or medical assistant duties to support the team during high patient volume times. Foster a supportive and cooperative work environment. Compassionate and skilled X-ray technologists dedicated to providing high-quality patient care. Team players eager to contribute to a dynamic and fast-paced medical facility. Professionals committed to continual learning and growth within the healthcare field. Prepare patients for radiological procedures and take x-rays following established procedures for patient care and safety. Protect patients, yourself, and staff from radiation exposure by practicing sound procedures that meet or exceed recommended industry standards. Obtain quality diagnostic radiographs as requested by healthcare practitioners. Maintain a repeat rate of two percent or less. Ensure that all equipment is in good working condition and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Must be willing to help assist at the front reception area when needed. While we prefer someone with at least one year of experience, we are willing to train the right candidate with less experience if they are a licensed Radiology Technician in the respective state of employment.
