Independently performs service repairs, diagnostics, and maintenance work on Tractors and Agriculture equipment such as John Deere, New Holland, Case IH, and Bobcat.
Performs repairs and maintenance on all makes and models of equipment
Accounts for all time within DMS and for all material used in performing assigned duties
Responsible for complete and thorough documentation of diagnostics and repairs performed on work orders and timely submittal of information
May perform diagnosis and repair in the field
Participates in Service Training programs required for the development of skills and knowledge
Operates and maintains vehicles, tools and equipment required to perform job responsibilities
Actively assists in recruiting service work
Maintains a clean work area and performs work in a neat and orderly fashion
Follows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments
Performs other duties as assigned
2+ years of professional experience performing service repairs in a business setting or certificate / diploma from a recognized program
Significant knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems used in the repair of tractors and turf equipment
Ability to operate vehicles and equipment used for diagnostic purposes
Ability to use a forklift / skid loader, forklift certification preferred
Proficient oral and written communication skills
Must have an adequate toolset to perform job responsibilities
Frequent bending and stooping
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
Standing for extended periods of time
Climbing / using ladders
Must pass a pre-employment background study
