Job Title : Locum Physician - Physiatry (PM&R)

Facility Overview :

UCHealth Poudre Valley Hospital, located in the vibrant city of Fort Collins, Colorado, is seeking a Locum Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Physician for PRN coverage. This facility is a community hospital offering a variety of medical specialties, providing a comprehensive environment for both caregivers and patients. The rehab unit, consisting of 14 beds, commonly maintains a census of 12-14, allowing for personalized care for medically complex patients.

Job Responsibilities :

• Provide coverage 4-8 days each month, with a flexible schedule.
• Work Wednesday to Friday, with occasional weekend calls.
• Manage adult inpatient rehabilitation cases, with a mix of specialty services including Sports / Ortho, CNS Rehab, and Medical Rehab.
• Supervise comprehensive rehab cases, ensuring quality patient outcomes.
• Utilize Epic systems for documentation and patient management.
• Participate in on-call duties for night shifts, with low call census.
• Engage with 1-2 discharges and admissions per day.
