About the Position

The company is seeking a Senior Estimator to help bid complex commercial and federal construction projects valued up to $50 million. This is a high-impact role that requires exceptional leadership, communication, and technical skills to manage estimating team members. The ideal candidate will be an experienced professional who has estimated complex projects while using one of the major estimating software’s

Key Responsibilities :

  • Analyze blueprints to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates
  • Consult with clients and vendors to formulate estimates
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
  • Review contract and bid documents to understand scope for project turnover
  • Mentor and guide Junior Estimators

Requirements

10+ years of experience in construction project management

Proven track record managing commercial and / or federal projects up to $50 million

Background in electrical contracting preferred but not required

Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred)

Must be willing to relocate or live near Huntsville, AL.
