Call Schedule : Rotation every 4th or 5th week

1 full week at a time;

M-F : new consults; Sat / Sun : rounding only

Call Type : Beeper

Call Response Time : 30 mins

Callback :

Phone Consults : 5-6 per week

Patient Volume : 15-18

Rounding Included : Yes

% of Practice :

70% Onc, 30% Hem (primarily benign cases)

Duties :

For the call : On-call provider handles new consults at the hospital (NPs round on existing patients); New consults are assigned to the on-call provider once evaluated.

Trauma Level : III

EMR : Cerner

Other Info : Primary focus on OP.

Required to Supervise APPs : Yes

Hospital Privileges Required : Yes
