As a Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol the campus, helping to deter security-related incidents while supporting a welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. Your presence will help foster a sense of community at this educational location. You'll conduct regular patrols, remain attentive to your surroundings, and provide excellent customer service.

Position Type : Flex

Pay Rate : $21.59 - $22.59 / Hour

Job Schedule : DayTimeMon12 : 00 AM - 08 : 00 AM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide excellent customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies at the location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting emergency response activities as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify any unusual situations.
  • Observe and report any security-related incidents or hazardous conditions to Allied Universal management and / or appropriate authorities.
  • Assist visitors, students, and staff with security-related inquiries and directions within the location.
  • Document and maintain detailed records of daily activities, incidents, and any significant occurrences during the shift.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
