Summary

Mission Technologies, a division of Huntington Ingalls Industries, is looking for a Data Scientist to support the Joint Training Synthetic Environment (JTSE) Joint Staff J7(JS J-7) contract at our Suffolk, VA Joint Staff Complex.

What You Will Do

• Explore and manipulate large-scale datasets using creative and effective data science methods.
• Analyze complex data to uncover trends, correlations, and outliers; build predictive and prescriptive models.
• Develop user-friendly reports and dynamic dashboards to communicate insights to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Collaborate with data engineers and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data flow and system integration.
• Create dynamic dashboards and visualizations to present insights to non-technical stakeholders in an actionable way.
• Document methodologies and code for transparency and reproducibility.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in data science and machine learning.
• Present findings through compelling story-telling that drives action and understanding.

May require working in an office, industrial, shipboard, or laboratory environment. Capable of climbing ladders and tolerating confined spaces and extreme temperature variances.
