Job Details

We are seeking an Associate Attorney to join our family law firm.

This is an exceptional opportunity to contribute to a thriving practice.

The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience as a practicing attorney, although we will also considered those recently barred. Family law experience is not required, but an interest and willingness to learn will be.

Responsibilities :

  • Advocate for clients in legal proceedings, presenting evidence and arguments in the most favorable light.
  • Conduct comprehensive legal research to support case preparation and strategy development.
  • Manage all phases of the discovery process, including drafting discovery requests, reviewing and analyzing responses, and handling discovery disputes.
  • Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and agreements.
  • Participate in depositions, mediations, arbitrations, hearings, and trials.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing regular updates and ensuring their needs are met.
  • Collaborate with a team of attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants to effectively manage cases.
  • Stay updated on current laws and regulations within the legal industry, applying this knowledge to current cases and legal advice.

    • Qualifications :

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the California state bar and in good standing.
  • 1+ years of experience as a practicing attorney.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to advocate effectively for clients.
  • Strong research skills, with proficiency in using legal research platforms.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and projects, with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated commitment to professional ethics and client confidentiality.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment, as well as independently.
  • Proactive and self-motivated, with a strong work ethic and commitment to excellence.
