Senior Family Law Attorney

Location : Houston, TX

A respected Houston family law firm is seeking a Senior Family Law Attorney with 7+ years of experience. This is an excellent opportunity for an accomplished attorney ready to take on challenging cases, lead client strategy, and mentor within a supportive, client-focused team.

About the Role :

The firm handles a wide range of family law matters and provides strong support, allowing attorneys to focus on effective advocacy. The right candidate will bring courtroom confidence, trial experience, and the ability to manage complex cases from start to finish.

Responsibilities :

Handle a caseload of divorce, custody, property division, modifications, and enforcement matters

Represent clients in hearings, mediations, and trials

Develop case strategies, draft pleadings, and negotiate settlements

Mentor junior attorneys and collaborate with staff

Qualifications :

J.D. from an accredited law school

Licensed with the Texas State Bar

7+ years of family law litigation experience with trial background

Board Certified Family Law Attorneys are highly encouraged to apply

Strong litigation, negotiation, and leadership skills

Compensation and Benefits :

Base salary : $150K–$175K DOE

Partner Attorneys may be considered for higher compensation
