About The Position

Must possess a radiation badge provided by the agency.

Must have experience with C-arm and fluoro.

Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is mandatory.

Description :

The position is for an X-Ray Tech working in Diagnostic Radiology.

Shift schedule is Monday through Friday, from 7 : 30 AM to 4 : 00 PM.

On-call requirements are minimal, with weekend on-call coverage on a rotating basis.

Candidates are not required to float between units.

First-time travelers are accepted.

A minimum of one year of radiologic experience is required.

Proficiency in specialized imaging techniques with minimal supervision is essential.

Familiarity with age-specific criteria is necessary.

Daily operations may involve the following common procedures :

• Abdomen decubitus and supine
• Chest routine and lateral decubitus
• Various limb imaging, including hips, knees, and shoulders
• Bedside and portable procedures as necessary

The candidate must be able to function effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.

The ability to manage and renew necessary certifications proactively is essential.

Candidates should be aware of the potential need to participate in emergency response teams during severe weather events.
