Position Summary

Child Life Specialists PRN provide evidence-based, developmentally and psychologically appropriate interventions including therapeutic play, preparation for procedures, and education that support and reduce fear, anxiety and pain for children, adolescents, and families. CLS work in partnership with families, interdisciplinary healthcare teams and community professionals within the evolving healthcare system to meet the psychosocial, emotional, and developmental needs of children and adolescents.

Essential Experience : Completion of Child Life internship following Association of Child Life Professionals current standards and / or eligible for Child Life Certification

Preferred Experience : 1-4 Years of Certified Child Life Specialist work experience

Certification Essential : Certified or eligible for certification within one year of hire.
