Lawyers On Demand is currently seeking skilled applicants on behalf of a highly regarded law firm for their opening as an AI Analyst in the firm's Washington, D.C. office. This is an open-ended contract position with the potential to go temp-to-hire. The firm is seeking entry-level applicants with software skills and a strong grasp of AI and machine learning principles. Candidates should have experience with Python, R, and / or SQL.

- Hours are 9 : 00am - 5 : 30pm
Duties & Responsibilities :
Evaluate and apply emerging AI / ML technologies—including LLMs, generative AI, and NLP—to legal use cases such as patent analysis, prior art searches, contract review, and e-discovery.Lead pilot programs and proof-of-concept initiatives to assess feasibility and impact of new AI tools.Partner with attorneys, IT, knowledge management, and operations teams to design and implement AI solutions that integrate seamlessly with existing systems and workflows.Translate legal and business needs into technical specifications for AI development and deployment.Guide AI solution development through all lifecycle stages—from ideation and prototyping to deployment and monitoring.Apply best practices and leverage technologies such as MSCopilot, Agents, and Ollama to ensure scalable and secure implementations.Support the execution of AI projects, ensuring delivery within defined scope, quality standards, and timelines.Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field.Strong knowledge of AI / ML concepts, algorithms, and applications, including LLMs, generative AI, NLP, and predictive analytics.Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Python, R, SQL) and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and data engineering.LOD is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
