Job descriptionSupport, deploy and interconnect various network technologies at an enterprise scale Manage various network platforms such as Aruba, Brocade, Cisco, F5, Palo Alto at an enterprise level capacity Manage various Public Cloud (Azure & AWS preferred) environments, in a network related capacity. Manage Wired and Wireless 802.1x Network Authentication using Cisco ISE Build and manage network automation solutions\integrations using Python or other relevant scripting languages
Skills & Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS :
- 7+ years of working with enterprise level firewalls, router, and switches
- 5+ years of scripting and building automation
- In-depth understanding of network concepts
- In-depth understanding of security practices
- Some background in an infrastructure role, Server, Network, Storage, etc
- Experience working for a high growth SaaS company
- Agile, lean, or similar development methodologies / experience
- Ability to use a wide variety of open-source technologies and tools
- Ability to code and script
- Experience with systems and IT operations
- Comfort with frequent, incremental code testing and deployment
- Strong grasp of automation tools
- Data management skills
- A strong focus on business outcomes
- Comfort with collaboration, open communication and reaching across functional borders
- Coding or scripting
- Process re-engineering
- Communicating and collaborating with others
- Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) a plus
- Self-motivated and able to work in a small team with minimal supervision
- Desire to deliver the best solutions for the need
- Ownership of any output delivered
- Ability to justify decisions made within the code being delivered
- Ability to use data to drive decisions
