As an Associate Counselor , you are under the supervision of a licensed counselor within their discipline and is actively working to complete state specific requirements for credentialing purposes in pursuit of full independent certification and / or licensure or is working to maintain current certification, where applicable. You will oversee aspects of a patient's treatment with appropriate scope of practice. This includes coordination and continuity of care from admission through discharge and follow-up of patients while under supervision. You will also promote performance improvement and service delivery by conducting individual and group sessions directed towards addressing the causes and effects of the patient's addiction.
