Combo TIG Welder – 2nd Shift ($27+ / hr)

Industry : Oil & Gas | Location : Tulsa, OK

Position Summary :

An established Oil & Gas manufacturer is seeking an experienced Combo TIG Welder for 2nd shift. The ideal candidate will have strong TIG and MIG welding skills, experience working on high-pressure piping or components, and the ability to produce X-ray quality welds. This is a hands-on, production-focused position with competitive pay and long-term opportunity.

Responsibilities :

Perform precision TIG welding on stainless steel and carbon steel materials for oil and gas equipment.

Complete X-ray quality welds meeting company and industry standards.

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols.

Set up and operate welding equipment, ensuring correct amperage, voltage, and gas flow.

Perform fit-up, prep, and layout as needed.

Inspect completed welds for defects and make necessary repairs.

Maintain safety standards and a clean, organized workspace.

Collaborate with other welders, fabricators, and supervisors to meet production goals.

Requirements :

Minimum 3–5 years of TIG welding experience, preferably in oil and gas or pressure vessel fabrication.

Ability to pass X-ray quality weld tests.

MIG Pulse experience is a plus.

Strong understanding of welding procedures (ASME, API, or similar codes).

Must be able to work 2nd shift and maintain consistent attendance.

Proficient in the use of grinders, torches, and other fabrication tools.

Commitment to safety and attention to detail.

Pay : $27+ / hr (based on experience)
