An Interventional Radiologic Technologist is a specialized healthcare professional who assists radiologists in performing minimally invasive, image-guided procedures, such as angiograms, catheter placements, and stent insertions. IR Techs operate fluoroscopy and other advanced imaging equipment, ensure patient safety, maintain sterile technique, and provide support throughout diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
