Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a Registered Nurse to work at a facility in Albany, NY. These are registry positions with our company. $100 Sign-On Bonus

Pay Rate : $65 / hour

M-F 8-5 (Flexible)

General duties

This individual is primarily responsible for working in a centralized complaint intake unit processing hospital, ambulatory surgery center, End-Stage Renal Disease (ESRD) & other clinical setting complaints, under the direction of the New York State Department of Health (DOH). Responsibilities include but are not limited to answering telephone calls, responding to executive & / or written correspondence from patients, family representatives, advocates, & health care providers with complaints about care and services at these settings. The nurse will ask questions sufficient to understand the nature of the complaint & its likely impact on patient care and services. Complaint information will be entered into the federal Aspen Complaint Tracking System (ACTS) for review during triage. This individual will participate in Case Review, Triage, CHIP Bureau meetings and perform other activities as directed.

Qualifications :

Licensed and registered to practice nursing in New York State.

Recent clinical experience in various provider settings.

Experience with computers, computer databases, Outlook / Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Word and Excel.

Ability to type at approximately sixty (60) words per minute or greater.
