Position Overview
The Protection & Controls (P&C) Engineer is responsible for the full lifecycle of protection and control systems for utility and industrial MV / HV substations, generation interconnects, and complex brownfield upgrades. This includes the design, configuration, SCADA integration, testing, commissioning, and client engagement. The ideal candidate combines advanced technical expertise with hands-on field experience and a strong client-facing presence to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient power system operation. This role suits engineers who thrive in dynamic field environments and enjoy solving complex power system challenges while mentoring others and driving continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and validate microprocessor relay settings and logic (SEL, GE Multilin, or equivalent).
Configure RTAC / PLC logic and integrate SCADA / HMI points.
Lead FAT / SAT, functional testing, checkout, and energization activities for substations and industrial facilities.
Serve as the primary technical contact during project execution, offering clear guidance to clients, EPCs, and field crews.
Apply company standards and industry codes (NFPA 70E, IEEE, etc.) to ensure compliance and safety.
Recommend improvements to engineering templates, test plans, and documentation workflows to enhance safety, efficiency, and data quality.
Perform other related duties as assigned to support business needs.
