About The Position

Job Description :

Seeking an experienced RN for a small LDRP unit with autonomy in both maternal and newborn care. The unit handles lower overall birth volume (~100 / year) but includes higher-acuity / high-risk cases. You’ll work independently, collaborating closely with a lean team, and must be comfortable floating to MedSurg or assisting with non-clinical tasks (CNA / secretary / helping hands) as needed.

Job Requirements

Requirements :

Experience : Minimum 2 years in obstetrics / L&D (unit accepts first-time travelers)

Certifications : ACLS, NRP, BCLS in hand

Skills :

Fetal heart monitoring expertise

Strong autonomy / judgment in LDRP settings

Willingness to float to MedSurg or other support roles as required

Ratios : 1 : 1–1 : 2

Weekend : As determined by department needs

EMR : Centricity, Meditech Magic experience preferred or ability to learn quickly

Locals : Accepted (“local rate” applies)

Scrubs : Navy Blue
