Application Support Consultant in Pittsburgh, PA, OR Cleveland, OH; location | PITTSBURGH, Pennsylvania, United States

Indotronix is seeking an Application Support Consultant in Pittsburgh, PA, OR Cleveland, OH; locations with our Direct client

Position : Application Support Consultant

Position Location : Pittsburgh, PA

2nd preference would be Cleveland, OH

Provide locations / flexible work by preference : 3 days a week, onsite

Days of the week : Monday through Friday, days in office are flexible, most of the team is there TUES / WED / THURS

Working Hours (Flexible) : 8 AM-5 PM, some changes to evening hours.

Acceptable time zone(s) : EST

Duration : Contract to hire

Industry background :

  • Enterprise highly regulated environments
  • Prior military

Roles and Responsibilities :

  • Operational health of the environment
  • Will utilize physical security apps to check the health on any given area
  • Team members will be working on 1 or 2 sprints within the Physical Security Technology portfolio.
  • Sprints may include upgrades to existing systems and capabilities
  • Work alongside Physical Security Technology team and SMEs to develop and troubleshoot enhancements
  • Collaborate with internal and external parties regularly

    • Technical Skills :

  • Windows 2019 / 2022 or Linux Red Hat 8 / 9
  • Prior experience in Enterprise level infrastructure and Software Lifecycle Management
  • Jira / Confluence / ServiceNow
  • Demonstrates strong background in Enterprise application support, with knowledge and experience of end-to-end processes.

    • Flex Skills :

  • Prior Physical Security Technology Experience preferred.
  • Experience with managing Commercial Off the Shelf applications highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of APIs, Certificates, Single Sign On technologies a plus.
  • Prior experience with AMAG Symmetry, AMAG Connect, Idemia MorphoWave and MorphoManager, Verint VidCenter and / or Video Inspector a plus
  • Passion to innovate with open-source mind set to improve products
  • Experience in collaborating and influencing cross-functional teams

    • Soft Skills :

  • Prior experience with presentations to all levels of the LOB
  • Ability to problem solving, strategic thinking
  • Troubleshooting
  • Analytical skills
  • Must have exceptional analytical skills
  • Strong customer and quality-focus
  • Fluently communicates in both written and oral English
  • Ability to work well individually and as part of a team
  • Experience with production server support, application upgrades and project life cycle / SDLC process
