Quality Technician

In this role, you will conduct tests to ensure quality or detect defects, analyze data to improve product quality, maintain our quality database and work closely with the manufacturing team to improve quality standards.

Responsibilities :

Perform regular quality assessments on all incoming materials from vendors and outgoing products for shipping

Reject all products and materials that fail to meet quality expectations

Read blueprints, plans, and specifications to understand the requirements of products and services

Measure product dimensions, examine functionality and compare the final product to the specifications

Recommend improvements to the production process to ensure quality control

Document inspection outcomes by completing detailed reports and performance records

Collect, analyze, and summarize statistical quality data for improvement purposes

Ensure safety regulations and industry standards are met to maintain an optimal working environment

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Quality Technician, Quality Control Inspector or similar role

Thorough knowledge of methodologies of quality assurance and standards

Excellent numerical skills and understanding of data analysis / statistical methods

Good knowledge of MS Office and databases

Great attention to detail and a result-driven approach

Certification of quality control is a strong advantage (ISO 9001 etc.)
