The technologist will perform interrogations of pacemakers and implantable defibrillator's.Monitor, write reports, and manage remote patient interrogations.Identify critical device and / or patient issues and bring them to the attention of the provider, and maintain the device database.Assists cardiologists with cardiac procedures and exams.Maintains and monitors systems, equipment, and supplies for the assigned department.Adheres to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.Qualifications
Job Requirements :
High School Diploma or GED equivalent.Knowledge of a variety of software applications programs.Knowledge of Anatomy, Physiology, and Radiation Safety procedures.Six (6) months of related experience in a healthcare environment.ACLSBLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.National Certification.CCSD, IBHRE, and CRAT certifications are required within the first year.Preferred Job Requirements :
Associate's Degree in CVT program from an accredited institution.
