Responsibilities
Foster, expand and leverage a network of excellent client relationships with a focused set of financial sector organizations (consistent with our growth strategy and trajectory).
Drive the continued growth of ERM’s business through recruiting and developing our next generation of leaders.
Further advance our reputation for supporting the highest profile M&A deals.
Role Responsibilities : Building long-term client relationships – engage closely with infrastructure investor clients (and portfolio companies) to understand their needs and share insights from across ERM; identify, originate, and secure M&A Advisory opportunities in the infrastructure sector; work with other Partners to originate, develop, and secure advisory opportunities to support such clients as they shape their net-zero transition.
Shaping and leading advisory assignments – central to shaping the future direction of sustainability and due diligence services to infrastructure investors; develop and execute novel ways to tailor advice; draw upon ERM’s global experience to provide high-quality advice; take senior-level accountability for scope and budget management for project assignments.
Inspiring leadership – mentor and collaborate to guide junior team members, identify skills gaps, and pursue future team development.
Maintain business health and safety performance standards, financial targets, project budgets and schedules, client satisfaction, internal risk management, and contractual requirements.
Qualifications
15+ years of progressive experience in either a consulting or advisory environment, with substantial work in the finance, energy, and / or infrastructure sectors, including alignment with Low Carbon Economy Transition goals.
Proven business development acumen with leading organizations in the infrastructure and energy sectors; track record in delivering multi-million-dollar annual sales / programs.
Track record of technical, commercial, and regulatory deal advice across the sector.
Experience overseeing the delivery of Technical due diligence assignments.
Broad understanding of global energy markets and macroeconomic outlooks.
Ability to develop new client relationships and expand existing relationships through strategic consulting, delivering value and quality service.
Knowledge of industry business cycles and ability to prioritize sales toward high-potential opportunities.
Ability to develop commercial strategies to pursue and win new business with ERM’s target Finance Sector clients.
Experience building, growing, and managing a high-performance team; leadership and mentoring skills.
Ability to meet business health and safety standards, financial targets, project budgets and schedules, client expectations, and contractual responsibilities.
