About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse (RN)

Profession : Nursing

Specialty : Med Surg / Telemetry

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 7 : 00 PM - 7 : 00 AM

Hours per Shift : 12 hours

Experience : Minimum of 2 years of Med Surg experience required, first-time travelers accepted

License : Valid state RN license

Certifications : ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), NIHSS

Must-Have :

• EPIC experience
• Ability to float to ER

Description :

This position offers same-day interviews.

Qualified candidates should prepare for a call from a designated area code.

As a member of the interdisciplinary team, the traveler contributes professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of care to patients.

The traveler may be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses.

Travelers must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted.

Work history and skills checklist must be completed within 1 year of the submission date.

One supervisory reference is required at the time of submission.

Proof of taxable address is needed to verify the bill rate in accordance with local traveler policy.

The traveler is required to work two of three winter holidays : Christmas, New Year's, or Thanksgiving.

There is a limit of one day request off between specific holiday dates for all travelers regardless of holidays worked.

A demonstrated ability to provide quality patient care in a fast-paced environment is essential.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills are required.

The candidate must be adaptable and ready to respond to changing patient needs.
