WARREN COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT - Accreditation and Training Coordinator
The Warren County Sheriffs Office is seeking applicants with advanced knowledge of law enforcement procedures, accreditation standards, policy development, training coordination and grant administration. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing accreditation and training programs independently while meeting critical deadlines. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential, along with proficiency in department-specific software. The successful candidate will demonstrate sound judgment, discretion in handling sensitive information, and the ability to build cooperative working relationships with staff, partner agencies, and accreditation bodies. A commitment to professionalism, accuracy, and exceptional service is required.
Position Summary
Under the direction of the Sheriff, the Accreditation and Training Coordinator manages accreditation and re-accreditation processes, ensures compliance with state and federal standards, oversees policy development, and coordinates training programs. The role also involves grants management, maintaining records, and serving as a liaison with accreditation bodies, training academies, and external agencies.

Education & Experience
Minimum : Three years of law enforcement accreditation and training experience; Ability to obtain Accreditation Manager Certification within one year of hire.
Preferred : Five years of accreditation and training experience with an accredited agency; Associates degree or equivalent in a related field; background in policy management and grants administration.
