Job Description : Travel Pharmacist – Marshfield, WI

Position Title : Travel Pharmacist

Location : Marshfield, Wisconsin

Shift : Days, Monday – Friday (8 : 00 AM – 7 : 15 PM) with weekend rotation (8 : 30 AM – 1 : 30 PM)

Contract Length : 13 weeks

Pay Range : $3,400 – $3,646 per week (gross)

Responsibilities

  • Review and interpret physician orders to ensure safe and effective medication use.
  • Dispense medications accurately and provide counseling to patients regarding proper use and potential side effects.
  • Monitor patient medication therapies for appropriateness, efficacy, and safety.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations regarding pharmacy practice.
  • Manage inventory, including ordering, stocking, and monitoring controlled substances.
  • Provide drug information and education to healthcare staff and patients.
  • Participate in clinical rounds and contribute to interdisciplinary care planning.
  • Document interventions and maintain accurate patient medication records.
  • Support quality improvement initiatives and ensure adherence to best practices in pharmaceutical care.

    • Requirements

  • Current Pharmacist license in Wisconsin (or ability to obtain prior to start).
  • Minimum of 1 year of pharmacist experience in a clinical or hospital setting.
  • Strong knowledge of pharmacology, drug interactions, and therapeutic guidelines.
  • Current BLS certification (American Heart Association) preferred.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems preferred.
