Sales Advisor / Service Writer Bilingual
The Sales Advisor / Service Writer is the heartbeat of the shop the person customers trust to shoot them straight, explain what their vehicle needs, and keep the workflow moving. You'll greet customers, write service estimates, communicate with technicians, and help drive revenue through honest recommendations and exceptional service. Key Responsibilities :
- Greet customers, understand their vehicle concerns, and create accurate service estimates
- Communicate clearly with technicians to ensure proper diagnosis and repair recommendations
- Present repair options, pricing, and timelines to customers in a transparent and friendly manner
- Prioritize and schedule jobs to maintain efficient shop workflow
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage daily service tickets
- Build trust with customers through honest communication and consistent follow-up
- Upsell / recommend maintenance services when appropriate (brakes, tires, alignments, fluids, etc.)
- Maintain accurate records of work orders, approvals, and repair notes
- Assist with point-of-sale transactions and payment processing
- Ensure a clean, organized front counter and waiting area
- Support the overall shop team by stepping in where needed
Qualifications :
Previous experience as a service writer, customer service advisor, or automotive sales rep preferredStrong communication skills and the ability to explain vehicle issues in a simple, customer-friendly wayExcellent organizational skills and ability to multitask in a busy environmentBasic understanding of automotive systems (training provided as needed)Ability to learn point-of-sale and shop management softwarePositive attitude, reliability, and strong customer-service orientationValid driver's licenseWhat We're Looking For :
