Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities : The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Nocturnist demonstrates professional development and clinical competency; provides medical care for patients of all ages according to the practice specialty. Serves in a clinical role to assist the Medical Director / Staff Physician in ensuring total patient care. Interacts directly with patients and patient families to maximize quality patient care. Applies knowledge of growth and development in patient interactions; performs other related duties. The Physician Assistant accesses, diagnoses, monitors, promotes health and protection from disease, and manages patients within age group of supervising physicians. The Physician Assistant makes rounds on hospitalized patients and may take call.

Qualifications

Required : Bachelor Degree

Physician Assistant (State) AND Physician Assistant Certification (National) OR

Master Degree Nursing AND

National Nurse Practitioner Licence AND

Nurse Practitioner (KY)

Desired :

One year of clinical experience.
