Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Lead Central Sterile Technician, Sterile Processing Technician is responsible for the cleaning, inspection, assembly, sterilization, and storage of surgical instruments and medical devices to ensure they are safe and ready for use in patient care. Key duties include operating sterilization equipment, maintaining detailed documentation of processes, following strict standards from organizations like AAMI and OSHA, and ensuring a sterile environment to support surgical procedures and patient safety.

Weekend availably required

High School graduate or equiv preferred

Training as Surgical Technologist preferred

Certification / Experience in Sterile Processing required

Team Lead experience needed

Previous Surgical Technician experience preferred
