Job descriptionMaterial Analyze drawings using applicable software to perform material take-offs for detailed estimates and provide unit cost pricing. Document Assist with red-lining documents and developing project updates for bid package estimate comparisons. Quantity Track and adjust quantities as needed, resolving discrepancies promptly. Vendor Solicit subcontractor bids and build relationships with vendors to secure competitive quotes. Scope Review Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Basis of Design, and drawings to determine scope of work and estimate requirements. Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering required (trade school or equivalent technical training and experience accepted). Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Mechanical Construction Estimating. Exceptional mathematical aptitude, communication, and organizational abilities, with strong knowledge of construction costs, principles, and document interpretation. Technical Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and Word), Quick Pen Auto Bid Mechanical and Sheet Metal Estimating software, and drafting systems. Detail-oriented, solution-focused, and capable of managing complex data while fostering vendor relationships and teamwork. Qualified candidates will be contacted within 2 business days of application.
