The Job

This job is not a "one-size-fits-all" sales pitch. This will require a significant amount of ongoing marketing education as marketing changes frequently. You'll be expected to spend time reading and staying up to date on industry trends.

This role requires a combination of sales expertise, marketing industry knowledge, and excellent communication skills.

Were looking for a creative and confident Account Executive who loves building relationships and closing big deals. Youll be the front line of growth at 97th Floor, generating leads, learning about the marketing needs of different companies, and guiding prospects from the first strategy call to kicking off with our fulfillment teams.

Youll own the entire sales cycle : lead generation, prospecting, discovery, proposals, and deal-closing. Youll collaborate with a smart, supportive team who cares about doing right by our clients. And youll have the freedom to experiment, improve, and make a significant impact.

What You'll Be Responsible For

  • Build relationships and generate leads through cold outreach, networking, and referrals
  • Deeply understand our services and how they impact our clients bottom line
  • Help to develop and present marketing strategies that will crush client goals
  • Nurture every lead in your pipeline with the same care and intentionality that we offer to our clients
  • Be able to communicate with large, enterprise-level marketing teams and buying committees

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience as an Account Executive or similar sales role
  • Track record of hitting (or smashing) quotas
  • 3-5 years of experience selling professional / marketing services
  • Comfortable with cold outreach, creative prospecting, and pipeline management
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Familiarity with HubSpot (or a quick learner)
  • Understanding of digital marketing channels and trends
  • A self-starter mindset you know how to manage your time and stay hungry
