Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week

Estimated Weekly Salary : $2050 - $2200

ER RN Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New York

Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room nursing experience required

BLS certification required; ACLS and PALS certifications preferred

Strong clinical skills in emergency care, professional communication, conflict resolution, time management, and organization

Ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary healthcare team

Emergency Room Nurse Responsibilities

Deliver direct patient care and family support within the full scope of ER nursing practice

Develop, implement, monitor, and evaluate emergency care programs and services

Collect observation data, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans

Coordinate patient movement and staff assignments as charge nurse when needed

Receive pre-arrival reports from EMS and coordinate with triage for walk-in patients

Collaborate with House Supervisor, ward clerk, provider staff, ED techs, RNs, and crisis evaluators

Maintain high standards of care in a 29-bed Emergency Department, including 5 psych-safe rooms
