What You Will Do :

  • Drive effective root cause analysis (RCA) and ensure the implementation of corrective and preventive actions using CORE (Customer Oriented Results and Excellence) problem-solving methodologies; apply CORE (Customer Oriented Results and Excellence), Lean and other continuous improvement techniques to develop and implement process improvement initiatives aimed at increasing quality, throughput and delivery integrity
  • Maintain and enhance Quality Management System (QMS) documentation, including work instructions, quality plans, and inspection procedures
  • Support internal and external audits, as well as customer inspections, ensuring organizational readiness and timely closure of any findings
  • Guide teams through change, fostering collaboration, and driving performance excellence in the processing of aerospace components
  • Ensure employees are adequately trained and work in a safe and environmentally sound manner; execute business decisions fairly, conduct annual performance reviews, hold regular toolbox meetings, provide two-way communications, consistent application of policy / work rules, clear, consistent communication of organizational goals and objectives
  • Understand and report daily production; allocate inspectors according to business dynamic needs

Qualifications You Must Have :

  • Bachelor's degree and 8 or more years' experience in an engineering, manufacturing operations, quality or closely related industrial environment OR a Masters' Degree and minimum 5 or more years' experience in an engineering, manufacturing operations, quality or closely related industrial environment
  • In absence of a degree, 12 or more years of directly related experience in engineering, manufacturing operations, quality or closely related industrial environment with a track record of leading quality initiatives on the shop floor.
  • Knowledge and understanding of continuous improvement tools such as Six Sigma and LEAN
  • Knowledge and effective practice of Environmental, Health and Safety requirements
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
  • Experience in a team leadership / supervisory capacity
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program / contract
  • Qualifications We Prefer :

  • STEM degree
  • Experience using CORE tools
  • Proficiency with SAP and Solumina
  • Working knowledge of Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) standards and regulatory compliance, including the Occupational Health & Safety Act
  • Analytical and statistical skills, with expertise in interpreting complex data to drive informed, risk-based decisions
  • This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
