Job Summary

Greeley Lock & Key is seeking a highly motivated and mechanically inclined individual to join our team as an Apprentice Locksmith / Level 1 Technician. This entry-level position is designed for rapid learning and growth within the physical security and automotive technology fields. The ideal candidate possesses strong customer service skills, excellent computer proficiency, and a passion for problem-solving. You will receive hands-on training while providing essential support to our field technicians and contributing to the smooth operation of our shop.

Key Responsibilities & Training Opportunities

This role offers comprehensive training across multiple aspects of the modern locksmith trade, combined with critical daily operational duties :

Training & Technical Development (What You Will Learn) :

• Basic Locksmithing Skills : Learn the fundamentals of mechanical lock and key systems, including rekeying, key duplication, servicing standard hardware, and understanding different lock mechanisms.
• Automotive Key Programming : Master the use of diagnostic tools and specialized equipment to program transponder keys and remotes for a wide range of vehicles.
• Safe Sales & Consultation : Be trained in safe inventory, security ratings, and features to confidently assist customers with their safe purchase decisions.

Operational Support & Administration (Daily Duties) :
