Fire Alarm Sales Specialist

We're looking for a Fire Alarm Sales Specialist to join our contracting division and help grow our fire alarm installation business across Maine. In this role, you'll be responsible for generating new business, building lasting customer relationships, and developing accurate proposals for fire alarm system installations.

Don't have a background in fire alarm systems? No problem. Experience in fire protection is a plusbut not required. We're also open to candidates from related industries, especially those with strong ties to the construction world and a solid understanding of how projects get done. If you know the key players, speak the language, and know how to get in the door, you'll fit right in.

More than anything, we're looking for people who are curious, motivated, and ready to learn. The people who thrive in this role are strong communicators who know how to build trust, follow through on commitments, and keep projects moving forward.

What You'll Do

• Prospect and build new customer relationships to identify fire alarm installation opportunities
• Visit customer sites, take field measurements, and assess project needs
• Prepare detailed estimates and pre-engineered proposals in line with local and national code requirements
• Review construction documents and coordinate with general contractors, building owners, and facility managers to define project scope
• Collaborate with internal teamsproject managers, designers, and field techniciansto ensure smooth project transitions
• Split your time between office work and field visits
