Role and Responsibilities :
The Executive Leadership Associate will work directly with the CEO of Chelsea Piers, supporting a broad range of strategic, operational, and organizational initiatives across our portfolio of businesses. This role is ideal for a highly organized, motivated, and adaptable individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to learn how a complex sports, real estate, and hospitality organization operates at every level.
The Associate will serve as both a strategic right hand and a hands-on executor, helping manage projects that span new business development, youth sports, and operations. This is a unique opportunity to gain deep exposure to executive leadership and high-level decision-making in one of New York City's most dynamic companies.
Administrative Support :
- Manage the CEO's calendar, coordinate internal and external meetings, and ensure effective time and information flow.
- Organize and maintain key documents, reports, and presentations; distribute materials and follow up on action items.
- Keep track of monthly to-do lists.
- Manage correspondence with clients, business associates, and employees.
- Answer phone, screen calls, and check messages.
Project Management
Support the CEO in managing and tracking progress across multiple departments and strategic initiatives.Maintain IT tools and systems to manage communication, accountability, and project execution.Partner with department leads to ensure alignment on priorities, timelines, and deliverables.Take ownership of special projects, bringing structure, follow-through, and thoughtful recommendations.Youth Sports Strategy & Operations (Initial Focus of Special Projects)
Partner with leadership to improve youth sports curriculum quality, structure, and communication across all Chelsea Piers programs.Align youth sports operations with overall brand philosophy and business goals.Develop and implement tools to measure program quality, participant satisfaction, and staff performance.Collaborate with cross-functional teams (People Operations, Finance, Program Directors) to identify and execute growth opportunities.Qualifications
Qualifications :
Bachelor's Degree.Minimum four years of work experience.Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and resourcefulness.Ability to handle multiple projects, working both collaboratively and independently.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to professionally handle confidential information.Excellent technological skills
