Are you passionate about providing quality patient care in a dynamic surgical podiatry practice? The Lower Limb Institute is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our team.

Key Responsibilities :
- Verify patient information through interviews during intake, recording medical history, and confirming the purpose of the visit.
- Prepare patients for examination by performing preliminary physical tests, taking vital signs, and summarizing patient history in our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system.
- Assist the podiatrist with office procedures, including completing x-rays and setting up tools for visits and procedures.
- Maintain patient confidentiality by safeguarding medical records and accurately coding diagnoses and procedures during dictation.
- Support front office operations, including answering phones, scheduling appointments, and handling insurance verification and collections of co-pays, deductibles, and coinsurance.
- Collaborate with medical assistants and other team members as needed, participating in cross-training across all departments.
Essential Requirements :
- Full-time availability with reliable transportation.
- Punctual and dependable.
- Proficient computer skills, including experience with EMR systems (1 year preferred).
- Spanish-speaking preferred.
