- Norfolk, VA Clearance : Secret Position Type : Full-Time AERMOR is seeking a Logistician II to provide intermediate-level logistics and life-cycle support for defense acquisition programs and electronic systems.
- The individual will support logistics planning, analysis, and coordination activities that ensure effective sustainment and readiness of C4ISR and related systems.
- This position requires a working knowledge of DoD logistics principles, processes, and documentation standards, along with the ability to analyze technical data and develop logistics procedures that enhance system supportability.
This is not a remote position. Key Responsibilities :
Support the planning, coordination, and implementation of logistics and life-cycle management activities for defense systems.Assist in the development and maintenance of logistics documentation, including Life Cycle Sustainment Plans (LCSPs) and logistics support plans.Analyze engineering and systems management data to identify sustainment needs and improve system reliability and maintainability.Participate in logistics readiness reviews, maintenance planning, and configuration management processes.Develop logistics procedures to ensure effective support, provisioning, and sustainment of C4ISR and similar systems.Monitor and evaluate supply chain performance, maintenance processes, and technical data accuracy.Support data collection and analysis for reliability, availability, and maintainability metrics.Coordinate with engineering, supply, and maintenance personnel to align logistics functions with technical and operational requirements.Assist in preparing reports, briefings, and presentations related to logistics performance and program supportability.Ensure all logistics functions comply with applicable DoD and U.S.Navy policies, standards, and regulations.Minimum Qualifications :
Three (3) years of experience in defense life-cycle (acquisition) logistics support of electronic systems.Experience in logistics management principles, practices, and processes.At least one (1) year of experience supporting C4ISR or similar systems, including :
Analyzing engineering / systems management data, developing logistics plans and procedures.Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) certification in Lifecycle [Acquisition] Logistics Foundational / Level 1, or equivalent training and certification.Alternatively, four (4) years of direct defense life-cycle logistics experience if certification is not held.Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related discipline preferred.Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to interpret technical documentation.Familiarity with logistics data systems, provisioning processes, and maintenance management tools.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
