Job Title : Catering Event Manager

Location : Providence, RI

Compensation : $50,000-$65,000 (Salary based on experience)

Position Overview

The Event Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing private and large-scale events across multiple Providence venues. This role involves managing all phases of event operations—from inquiry and planning to on-site execution and post-event follow-up. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the full event cycle including sales, planning, detailing, and execution of private and public events.
• Work closely with clients to understand their vision, budget, and expectations, delivering an exceptional guest experience every time.
• Prepare detailed event orders, floor plans, and timelines in coordination with the culinary and service teams.
• Manage communication between departments to ensure seamless execution of events.
• Supervise on-site setup, service, and breakdown for events, ensuring standards of quality and efficiency are met.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and venue partners.
• Monitor event budgets, track expenses, and ensure profitability goals are achieved.
• Lead pre-event meetings and post-event evaluations to continuously improve operations and service delivery.
