Engineering Laboratory Technician

Job Title : Laboratory Technician / Engineering Laboratory Technician

Location : Fairfield, CA 94533 (fully onsite)

Duration : 9+ months Right to hire (extended with full time / long term performance based)

General Working Hours : Monday – Friday 7 : 00am - 3 : 30pm

Please note : specializing in explosives performs highly technical and safety-critical tasks

Prior working experience with aerospace / defense / DOD Contractors

Qualifications

• Citizenship : US Citizen or Perm Resident.
• Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry or related degree.
• Must have minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• Work history that demonstrates some mechanical aptitude and / or other skills relevant to the job duties described.
• Must be able to work on DoD contracts involving explosives within the site BATF license.
• Must qualify to handle explosives under the Fairfield site BATF Explosive Handlers permit.
• Must be able to lift 25lbs
